Salute to the beautiful sea goddess Mazu
Pinghai Bay, located in the beautiful and prosperous Putian, Fujian, is the birthplace of the belief in the sea god Mazu. At present, from Putian to Fujian, from the coast of China to overseas, and to 28 countries and regions, there are over 6000 temples dedicated to our sea goddess Mazu.
The sea goddess Mazu is the protector of the sea. Legend has it that if she calls for help from the gods in case of a shipwreck, she is called "Mazu" and will immediately come to rescue them.
The prototype of the sea goddess Mazu is Lin Mo, a common fisherman woman in Putian. Her spirit of bravery, helping the weak and the poor, rescuing from danger, fearlessness, and indomitable spirit has deeply integrated into daily life and been passed down to future generations.
Today, the "sea explorers" of Shiyou Electric's green wind power, with respect and love for the sea, uphold the brave and indomitable spirit of the sea goddess Mazu and contribute to the construction of offshore wind farms.
